Tea Time!

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

Being raised with a British Grandmother I know the importance of keeping the tea pot warm. A Tea cozy normally does the trick, but who ever said your tea cozy had to be boring! Yay Weird knitting Wednesday!

you can always have company for tea with an elephant tea cozy (tusks optional).

and in case you’d prefer some older company you can always make a mammoth instead

If you like lemon with your tea, maybe you’d like lemon keeping your tea warm (orange and lime flavors also available)

You should always encourage small children to pick up a teapot and give it a hug.

A cactus tea cozy, for your desert theme tea parties.

Perhaps your tea is poisonous, you really should warn people.

Hello Mario Scarf Readers!

Friday, September 19th, 2008

Hello All! My name is Emily and I am the new contributor to the Mario Scarf blog!

Cassie thought I should let you all know a little bit about myself. I like to say that I’m a geek in the classic sense; I do IT work, I love computers, I love video games (my DS is always close at hand), I love board games (Settlers of Catan anyone?) I love card games (look up chez geek and munchkin, they rock!) I love Sci-fi/Fantasy (books or movies), I watch anime and read manga, and I knit! I’m even the co-founder of my office’s knitting and crocheting circle!  I also have two cats, Naomi and Smeagol (by far the dumbest cat on the planet ), and a darling husband.

Some of my fave projects in the past year have been my super easy stuffed bunny
